Claire Griswold, Encore Student of the Year 2011
It has been an honor and privilege to have worked with Claire Griswold over the last four years. She is by far one of the most dependable, hard-working, passionate students I have ever known. She has the type of spirit and energy that permeates a room and everyone in it. She is an absolute joy to have around. Claire also has an extremely strong work ethic and high moral standing. She carries herself with confidence and has the utmost integrity. She dedicates herself 200% to whatever project she works on.
Claire is someone that can always be counted on, both on and off the stage. Those who perform with her know that Claire will have their back no matter what happens. She has focus, poise, and maturity onstage that is well above her years. She has a magical presence that can light up a stage and hold an audience captive. With all this talent, there is not one hint of arrogance about her. She is a humble, sweet young woman who is always willing to put in extra time and effort to help those around her. Her peers look up to her as a leader in both action and words. She respects those around her and respects herself.
Encore Entertainers has been lucky to have her. She has brightened all of our lives with her warm personality, her loving heart, and her big smile. She is a wonderful student who is loved by all who know her.
For all of her continual hard work and dedication to the arts, Claire Griswold has been selected as the Encore Entertainers Student of the Year for 2011.

Christopher Truman, Encore Student of the Year 2008
In May of 2008, Encore Entertainers presented our first Charity Outreach production. It was a production of Youíre a Good Man, Charlie Brown presented at the Rolling Hills Covenant Church Community Center. The entire project was conceived by Encore student, Chris Truman who was only 16 years old at the time. With a teenage cast of many of Chris's close friends the production raised over $3,000 for Friends of Angels, an organization that helps families with Autistic children.
Encore is grateful to Chris for allowing us to partner with him to make a difference in the lives of others. His passion and leadership has already inspired other Encore Charity Outreach projects. We know that as the years go on, Chris's influence and leadership will continue on for generations of Encore students to come. For this reason, Encore selected Chris Truman as the Encore Student of the Year for 2008.
